Fight against censorship of DOD libraries.
The Pentagon has expanded its efforts to censor topics including diversity and anti-racism by ordering all branches to scrub libraries of "divisive concepts and gender ideology" and pull those materials from shelves in educational institutions. Almost 600 books have been ordered to be removed from DoDEA schools. This censorship of libraries - restricting access to books that reflect diverse viewpoints, lived experiences, and essential knowledge - is unacceptable and has no place in our military community.
Now is the time to speak up and let leaders know that this censorship is unacceptable and flies against everything our loved ones in uniform fight to protect.

Stand up against voter suppression efforts targeting the military community.
Donald Trump has announced he will sign an executive order to ban all mail-in voting nationwide. Meanwhile, Republican National Committee (RNC) and Arizona GOP are calling Americans "cheaters” for trying to exercise their right to vote from overseas. The groups filed a lawsuit seeking to block an Arizona law that allows some overseas U.S. citizens who have not lived in the state but have a parent who is a registered Arizona voter to cast ballots.
These efforts are a direct attack on the very rights our loved ones in uniform have sworn to defend. Military families cannot stay silent while the President and his party try to silence voters - many of them military-connected families. The right to vote should never depend on your ZIP code or whether your family serves overseas.
What can you do?
Arizona military families: Call your state legislators.
“Hi, I’m [NAME], a military family member stationed abroad. The RNC’s lawsuit aims to strip our loved ones of their right to vote. We’ve sacrificed for this democracy—don’t let them take our voice. Join Secretary Fontes and reject this hostile action.”
All military families and allies: Use your platforms.
Call Your State Governor and Secretary of State
Tell them to reject Trump’s executive order as unconstitutional!
Share this story and urge your networks to call, write, or post that silencing voters weakens us all. Connect your own service to the fundamental rights under attack by these voter suppression efforts.
Write a letter to the editor (LTE) emphasizing that protecting democracy means protecting the vote - especially for our military families serving overseas.

And the pressure is working: DOD’s acting Investigator General announced that they will review Secretary Hegseth’s use of Signal, including conversations on which he included his wife and brother, in addition to Signalgate.

Call your representatives to tell them your concerns and ask them to support Hegseth’s firing or resignation.
